Who We Are
JT Wood Floor Sanding is a family-run business built on generations of hands-on craftsmanship. Led by Johnathon Taylor, we specialise in restoring wooden floors to a clean, modern and durable finish using professional sanding systems and proven techniques.
Wood floor restoration has been in our family for generations. I learned the trade working alongside my dad and grandad, developing a respect for old-school craftsmanship, attention to detail and doing the job properly — values that still define how our team works today.

Johnathon Taylor – LocalBusiness
Johnathon began his career through a Wood Finishing apprenticeship, working alongside his dad for years and gaining hands-on experience from an early age. Now the founder and lead specialist at JT Wood Floor Sanding, he’s known for premium workmanship, honesty and a friendly approach — ensuring every project meets the company’s standards.
Chris – Floor Restoration Specialist (20 Years Experience)
Chris completed his floor restoration apprenticeship over 20 years ago. Known for precision and reliability, he consistently delivers high-quality work across all wood floor types.
Ken – Senior Craftsman
(40+ Years Experience)
Ken, Johnathon’s dad, brings over four decades of craftsmanship to the business. His experience, steady hands and traditional finishing skills have shaped many of the techniques the team uses today
Jason – Floor Sanding Specialist (15+ Years Experience)
Jason has extensive experience in hardwood, parquet, engineered and commercial flooring. Reliable, skilled and detail-focused, he’s a valued member of the team.
